Hi fellas!
So, how was going on in this october, guys? This month is going to be ended soon by the Halloween celebration. Are you guys excited?
Since i've been staying in Indonesia for these few months, not to excited for the halloween.
It's not one of the big celebration day in my country sadly. Still remembering how fun the last two years my halloween celebration in Singapore. Missing it so badly.

Anyway, i've been busy taking care of my new clothing line. Indeed, i'm going to continue my study in the early of 2014. While i'm doing nothing to wait for my new college life, decided to creating my clothing brand. It's named STUPKID, which is you guys know it stands for stupid kid.
Hopefully, you guys excited because this November i'm going to launch my first ever collection.
Even though i'm totally sucks at drawing but in this way maybe to prove a fashion marketing student who doesn't know at all how to draw and sew can make their own collection?

Will be very happy to hear and critics and suggestion from you guys.
Thank you so much for a lot of love and supports from people around me that genuinely care about me. Even thank you is never enough.

Honestly i bought that tee since almost 2 months ago and been thinking this kind of outfit from i don't know when but here we go now.
I've been struggling so badly to find this team Philo shirt with 73 on the back side.

Just saying, being so busy this couple weeks and i'm on my way building my own brand.
I hope you guys will excited to look forward it.

If i nail this one, i'll prove to anyone that even though i'm a fashion marketing student, no way near to be artistic kind of person, the only thing i could draw are just mountain, the sun and the moon.
Last one, yes, i am the one who had my first remedial test in junior high school is on drawing subject. Fyi, the tittle of the assignment is just to draw a refined cube and i'm got the lowest score among the class, ehm, the only one though. because of this, my mom found it ironic to see me and she hired a drawing teacher to come over my house and i was having some drawing cube lesson for few weeks.
I feel so pathetic about myself.

The Namsan Power

Hi Fellas!!
Sorry for keep delaying to post the last part from my Korean trip.
Even though it seems like too long to discuss about it, but i just mind to keep writing this.
believe that one day i could read all of these posts as my diary to be remembered, right?

I was going to the most memorial place in Seoul, i think?? Yup, exactly!
It's the most beautiful tower in Seoul, Namsan Tower.
I spent almost a whole day to explore it. But, it seems very worth it to waste my time down there.

The cable cars that bringing you up there.

It would be lovely to keep hanging on the cable car and nothing but just enjoying the beautiful sceneries from up there.

After the cable car had reached the top, we need to keep going. A little bit further with a lot of stairs that need to be passed and we arrived in a large park, honestly im not really sure i found the right words to describe that place.
However, i could find some of rock statues, a big temple beside them, some shops and small stalls surrounding the park.
Then, just realised that i'm in the middle of the Namsan tower.

You're able to write anything on the rock statues with your own pen and marker.
My sister wrote her boyfriend's name on it, very sweet? Envy?
Meanwhile, me, the older sister, wrote nothing up there? Lol.

Maybe 'those' become the most noticeable from the Namsan tower, am i right?
You can find a lot of couples there and write their name on it with their love one.
There is uncountable amount of padlocks that hung there.
Various type of padlocks from the new until the already rusty!
Tower of love? Very lovely to be up there :(

Do you notice that the bench is broken in the middle?
Yep, all the benches there are deliberately made to be broken and it's just to make all the couple there can sit closer.
So unique, isn't it?  I wanna steal that bench!

Still wondering, how people hung their padlocks inside but i've tried and there is no way my hand could reach the centre part. Curious??

Like i told you before that i was still being in the middle of Namsan and these two photos were taken at the peak of the tower.
The place at the peak is surrounding the circular tower, At the glass wall, there are some numbers that shown how far the place where i stood with some countries around the world.
Walking there, feels like stepping around the world?

The most exciting one!!!!!
 Teddy Bear Museum!!!

I think, i've seen thousands teddy already! Cutest!

No, these two teddies just turned into flirty teddies in front of me and Neisya!
Or me and Neisya being flirty to them? Naughty teddies!

Me and super silly face just trying to imitate this happy creature beside me! Do i look similar?

Taken at one of photoboxes at Edae. Last day :(
Anyway, if you go to Seoul, you absolutely need to try the photobox there.
I'll bet you can waste too much time there just for doing some editing stuffs.
it's not like other photobox i've ever tried before.
You can add more eyelashes, bigger eyes, sharper noses, eyebrows, sharping your face and even you can change your hair colours.
In sort, you can put your makeup there!

Over limit baggages and happy tummy!
Korean snacks is just seriously the best. Seems you cannot bring it home only one.
I also do really love their packaging! Shocking pink seems everywhere and it's just one of my favourite colours since i don't have any particular fave colours.
But, overall, as my favourite one is still the MarketO Brownies :D
Maybe you can drop me at their factory, im sure i can eat that a whole day!

Thank you guys for reading. I hope you enjoy my posts! :D
Would be lovely if you can drop me some of your opinions and suggestions.

Rebirth of Hanboks

Hi folks!
Since my previous post is about my journey wearing a hanbok, i've decided to do deeper researches about a beautiful piece of hanbok that symbolise Korean beauty.

Hanbok is about shapes, small details, vibrant colours and the significant of embroideries and patterns.
The fluffiness of the skirt is one of their trademark also, since traditionally women have to wear 7 layers of undergarment inside. But, over time, it has changed and they simplified it into only 1 undergarment underneath the skirt.
So, here is Korean traditional costumes that are no longer 'traditional.

Some of the remarkably high-fashion photo shoot of Hanboks
Vogue Korea : Kyung Soo Kim - The Full Moon Story. It's been posted during Chuseok, Korean thanksgiving day.

How about the beautiful piece of hanbok for a beautiful day?
 Hanboks as wedding dresses?
Hanbok as a wedding dress.
I found it very beautiful using a pale colours and the lac embroidery at the edge of the veil.

The fluffiness and the elegance of the skirt is still the same

You can see it on the Fashion Runway also!
Some of the looks that really caught my eyes that modified from hanboks.
Mostly, they turned it into a piece of dress. But, how about the last picture?
Applying hanbok's shapes, they made a gorgeous grunge look by using tartan pattern.

Just a few days ago, one of the famous fashion bloggers Susanna Lau or known as Susie Bubble, posted a photo [right photo] wearing that dress, that i really really fell in love.
After seeing the picture of hanbok on the runway [left photo], all of a sudden i remember Susie's photo.
Can find the similarities?

Fyi, i do really love Susie. One of my biggest fashion inspiration actually.
In my opinion, she's the best at mix-matching a whole look from street wear brands until high fashion ones to represent herself, isn't it?

Kara, one of the K-pop girl band prettily wearing hanboks for their looks and they keep it chic

Colours, Shapes, Ornaments, Embroideries, Details are all about Hanboks.
The impacts of Hanbok in the fashion world
'Garden of East' by Yeashin Kim
I do really like the whole collection. It seems like she took the details of hanboks as her inspiration but she collaborated it with other designs. If you look carefully at the traditional hanboks, they used a lot of tassels for their ornaments also.

Vogue Korea : 'Happy Bunny Girl' featuring Jang Yoon Ju
I think this one is my favourite one! Brilliantly changed it into Modern Hanboks.
Instead of the fluffy skirt, they modified it into different designs like peplum skirt, pleats or even ruffles. Even though they did a lot of changes from the real one, but you all still can see it as a hanbok.
That's why, they showcased and delivered the modern hanboks successfully.

I've been kept my eyes opened widely and my jaw dropped on some pictures of modern hanbok.
It's about how they applied something traditional with modern elements and the result was amazing.
Not only into formal wears, but also into everyday clothes by putting some elements inside.

How about your opinion guys? Hanboks in the fashion world?
Could this be one of the fashion trends someday?
